Her
diverse
skill
set
and
extensive
experience
in
the
field
of
dietetics
make
her
a
strong
leader on our team.
Eileen
received
her
Bachelor
of
Science
in
Nutrition
from
the
Pennsylvania
State
University
and
her
Master’s
in
Public
Health
from
the
University
of
North
Carolina.
Since
then,
Eileen
has
worked
as
a
Registered
Dietitian
in
a
variety
of
settings.
She
presided
as
Vice
President,
Retail
Dietetics
&
Nutrition
Solutions
for
The
Little
Clinic,
a
retail
healthcare
company
operating
over
200
clinics
inside
Kroger
grocery
stores.
Prior
to
this
role,
she
served
as
Vice
President
of
Affiliations
and
Patient
Centered
Strategies
and
was
responsible
for
the
development
and
management
of
clinical
partnerships
between
clinics
and
nationally-recognized
health
systems
throughout
the
country.
She
has
also
spent
much
of
her
career
providing
nutrition
and
health
behavior
expertise
in
weight
management
and
eating
disorder
populations.
Today,
Eileen
consults
with
business,
industry,
and
dietitians,
in
addition
to
her
role
with
Genquest
Nutrition
Solutions.
Throughout
her
career,
Eileen
has
remained
an
active
professional
within
the
Academy
of
Nutrition
and
Dietetics.
She
currently
is
a
member
of
the
Academy
of
Nutrition
and
Dietetics’
Nominating
Committee,
and
previously
served
as
Chair
of
the
Weight
Management
Dietetics
Practice
Group.
In
addition
to
performing
these
roles,
Eileen
is
also
an
avid
writer.
Her
publication,
“Winning
the
War
Within:
Nutrition
Therapy
for
Clients
with
Eating
Disorders”,
has
served
as
an
invaluable
resource
for
eating
disorder
professionals
and
is
now
on
its
third
edition
(2017).
She
has
contributed
her
knowledge
and
expertise
as
a
guest
blogger
for
#besomebody.
®,
and
findingBALANCE®.
Eileen
has
received
numerous
awards
for
her
contributions
to
the
field
of
nutrition,
including
Excellence
in
Practice
Awards
from
the
Sports,
Cardiovascular,
and
Wellness
Nutrition,
Weight
Management,
and
Behavioral
Health
Nutrition
dietetic
practice
groups.
She
holds
many
advanced
credentials,
including
Certified
Eating
Disorder
Registered
Dietitian
(CEDRD)
and
Fellow
of
the
Academy
of
Nutrition
and
Dietetics
(FAND).
She
is
skilled
in
motivational
interviewing,
shared-
decision
making,
and
effective
nutrition
and
behavior
interventions.
She
is
known
and
respected
for
her
sincere
support
of
her
colleagues
and
sophisticated,
unique
insight.
She
is
truly
a
trail
blazer
leading
the
path for improved practices and outcomes at all levels.
